WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is hiring for a Senior Recruiter – Pacific based in our Melbourne, Australia office. This role sits in the Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) Talent Acquisition team and is part of Nike's Global Talent Acquisition organization.

We're seeking a seasoned, strategic talent acquisition professional who brings a successful track record of identifying, engaging and closing passive top talent, one who takes action and is adept at influencing key partners and hiring leaders. You are strategic, consultative and driven and you take initiative to find ways of improving the quality of your work. Nike is constantly evolving, so we are in need of someone who is a curious learner and comfortable adapting quickly to change.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As Senior Recruiter for Nike's Pacific territory (Australia and New Zealand), you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process across all corporate functions and grades for the enterprise. This includes supporting and influencing key partners and hiring managers for Nike's operations across both the Pacific territory and across the Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) geography.

You'll develop tailored recruitment strategies and be a strategic partner to hiring managers. You'll own full-cycle search engagements with a constant lens on diversity, equity and inclusion. You'll develop and execute tailored, thoughtful recruitment strategies that ensure a positive and outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience throughout. You'll serve as a marketplace thought leader to hiring managers and senior leaders, keeping them abreast of candidate landscape trends for key areas of hire. You'll utilize talent market insights and data to inventively and proactively engage, build and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent communities. You'll utilize broad market knowledge and creatively network to build, manage and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent. You will also be involved in elevating employer branding and campus recruiting.

Additionally, you'll provide subject matter expertise on Nike recruitment process and champion changes in process or philosophy. You'll be a thought and change leader to the business in collaboration with broader HR stakeholders and teams.

Above all, you will be responsible for attracting and hiring Nike's most important asset - its people

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be a member of a diverse Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) geography Talent Acquisition team, which sits within Nike's Global Talent Acquisition organization. You'll maximize partnerships with Nike Talent Acquisition center of excellence teammates across University Relations, Sourcing, Talent Attraction and Global Hiring Initiatives to optimize efficiency and facilitate the full recruiting lifecycle end to end.

This role will report to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager APLA, based in Singapore.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in full-cycle corporate talent acquisition, ideally within a multi-national organization
  • Demonstrated ability to design and drive strategic hiring process with high sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated experience in proactive, strategic sourcing and engagement with passive candidates through diverse channels or networks.
  • Proven track record of influencing hiring decisions through data insights and possessing exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in recruiting practices, principles, applications, and methods, including strong interviewing and assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships, provide clarity in ambiguous situations, define requirements and offer guidance while also knowing when and how to push back
  • Demonstrated track record of innovative sourcing and building talent communities within unique functional skill sets
  • Working knowledge of Workday is preferred but not required
  • Experience in recruiting across multiple geographic locations preferred but not required
