The Opportunity Min Res is currently seeking an experienced Reliability, Planning, and Shutdown Superintendent for our Wodgina operations on a 4:3 roster.


Reporting through to the Manager, this role will lead our team in achieving operational excellence through reliability enhancement, flawless shutdown execution running every 13 weeks, and strategic planning initiatives.

Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies to enhance equipment performance and minimize downtime.


Lead the planning and execution of plant shutdowns, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources, adherence to schedules, and compliance with safety protocols.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track reliability metrics, shutdown performance, and project milestones.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement, training, and support to team members.


What is required?Minimum 5 years of experience in a Superintendent/Management position working within reliability engineering, shutdown management, or related roles.


Australian recognised Trade Qualification and/or Bachelor's degree is highly desirable Proven track record of successfully leading reliability improvement initiatives and shutdown projects.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
