Our Port Hedland division is a diverse operation servicing a range of mining clients in BHP, FMG and Roy Hill across the region.

We have a strong local presence conducting maintenance, shutdown work and projects for our varied list of clients.

We have an opportunity to live and work (Or FIFO 2:1) in Port Hedland to join the leadership team in the capacity of Electrical Superintendent.

To be successful in this role you will require:
Experience as an Electrical Supervisor/Superintendent leading a diverse team and sub-contractors.
Extensive experience on fixed plant maintenance and projects within the mining and resources industry.
Fault finding, commissioning experience.
Experience in assembling and installing HV, MV and LV switchgear.

Electrical maintenance services experience in a heavy industry environment Carry out all activities within the whole-of-job scope including pre work, preparation of JSA's, organizing materials, execution, test out and hand back and sign off.

An ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills.
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards and regulations.
Assist with Tender/Quote stages, Project manage and work to meet the projects requirements and promote productivity.
Adhere to all site rules and inspire crew to work safely and efficiently with driving excellence through the team.

Coordinate & Delegate work to your team leads Understanding of financial and budgetary requirements within projects and day to day operations.


Qualifications/licence and Clearances:
Certificate l V in leadership and management or higher.
Certificate l V in Project Management or equivalent experience.

Electrical Contractor License (WA)Construction White Card Provide First Aid (LVR/CPR within one year); High Risk Card (EWP); Valid WA C or HR class driver's license.


Highly desirable but not essential:
FMG Inductions.
BHP Inductions.
Roy Hill Inductions.
