About the Sourcing & Partnerships team

  • Working with the GM Sourcing and Partnerships to support the development of sourcing and supplier management practices across PEXA.
  • Develop and deliver category & sourcing strategies for the supply of goods & services that deliver a total cost of ownership reductions and value creation opportunities across PEXA.


You will bring sourcing experience and expertise across multiple domains, to ensure material commercial suppliers of goods and services to PEXA, align with the business, deliver real on-going value, and continue to meet the needs of the business.


You will actively engage and collaborate with stakeholders within PEXA's to ensure all category strategies are agreed, supported and aligned with PEXA's strategic plan.

In particular you will provide a strong focus on supporting the Technology and Professional Services stakeholders.

What you'll do day to day:

  • To lead the development of Category & Sourcing strategies across PEXA.
  • Support strategic sourcing objectives through effective procurement of goods and services while building robust working relationships with business partners.
  • Engage and influence leading procurement change across the organisation.
  • Support the development and implementation of the strategic relationship management program.
  • Lead or participate in sourcing strategies that generate value chain benefits and achieve financial savings through market insight and analysis of category.
  • Benchmark of industry standards and practices to identify quick win and savings opportunities.
  • Align supplier financial targets and category plans with PEXA's 5year business plan, objectives and strategy model.
  • Build close relationships with business stakeholders and ensure the strategic direction of PEXA is fully understood and built into category management plans and strategies.
  • Work closely within PEXA to understand demand management, usage and requirements and buyer behaviour.
  • Support the development of supplier risk mitigation strategies with supplier relationship managers.
  • Support supplier qualification aligned with PEXA's policies, procedures and risk mitigation requirements.
  • Develop and maintain cost models for managing key cost drivers impacting on the category.
  • Deliver long term financial and value improvement benefits to PEXA through category and sourcing strategies.
