As the Grid Connection Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our client's mission by overseeing the integration of renewable energy projects into existing grid infrastructure.

From large-scale wind farms to cutting-edge solar installations, you will lead the charge in ensuring the seamless connection of these projects to the grid, enabling the efficient distribution of clean energy to homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the grid connection process for a diverse range of renewable energy projects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Forge strong partnerships with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to navigate the permitting and approval process effectively.
  • Oversee comprehensive technical assessments to ensure compliance with grid connection requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate closely with grid operators and utilities to facilitate project integration and address any operational challenges.
  • Develop innovative strategies to mitigate grid connection risks and maximize project outcomes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on grid connection technologies and best practices, guiding internal teams towards successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress closely, proactively identifying and resolving issues to keep projects on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement by staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in grid connection.
  • Mentor and empower junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in grid connection management or related roles within the energy sector.
  • Deep understanding of electrical grid systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering grid connection projects of varying scale and complexity.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
