The Responsibilities Lead the discussion in system technical specification, GPS Development and Connection Application with TNSPs/DNSPs in NEM.

Assist the team leader to negotiate with TNSP/DNSP/AEMO on Connection Agreements and commercial offers to maximise the benefits of the project.

Actively manage stakeholders, external governmental bodies, internal teams.
Provide support internally on NEM policies, procedures, market updates on networks for Renewable Energy green field developments.
Prepare generator technical performance standards for Grid Connection Agreements in according to NER in NEM.
Perform Due Diligent tasks on new project or market opportunities.
Develop and manage internal pipelines while maintaining up-to-date reports.
Work closely with the development and technical teams to support in creating green field/ acquisition development opportunity.
Manage time, budget and resources to ensure project progresses in set milestones and the company goals are achieved.

The Selection Criteria A reliable and resilient individual with strong work ethic and growth mindset, the successful candidate will demonstrate and apply problem-solving techniques to address complex challenges.

Showcasing seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders management and the ability to foster strong relationships, you will successfully oversee project execution, ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of projects.

Demonstrated expertise in Renewable Systems (Solar/ Wind/ BESS/ Hybrid etc).

Proven track record in obtaining Grid Connection Approvals connecting systems over 30 MW+ within NEM (WEM experience is a plus).

Ideally previous experience working for a Developer/ Consultant/ Investor/ NSP/ Asset Owner as Technical Officer or Project Engineer on Wind, Solar, BESS projects is AUS or NZ.3-4 years or more in Electrical Engineering experience in the Energy sector.

Electrical Engineering degree (Power Grid modelling skill is a plus)Strong understanding on project development process, project site safety and ISO standards & requirements.

Familiarity with National Electricity rules, policies, operation protocols.
Good understanding of NER processes for electricity generation & load connections and T&D network.
Proficient understanding the associated control, HV/MV systems design, power flow studies, MLF/DLF/locations analysis, simulation, and management of projects.
