Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 Project Support Officer on a contract for 12 months with 2x6 months extension option.


Position Overview

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform, coordinate, and provide support for a range of moderately complex to complex project support activities and administration.
  • Responsible for coordinating meetings, agenda, and minute preparation, and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Provide direct support to the project team, and through consultation and stakeholder engagement coordinates and contributes to the timely and accurate achievement of Division outcomes.

The key skills and experience required include:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Support Officer within large organisations
  • Adept with MS Office Suite, including Project, Visio, Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage with numerous stakeholders via several means, e.g., workshop facilitation
  • Responsible for coordinating meetings, agenda, and minute preparation, and follow up on outstanding actions.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at a level designated by the Agency on request.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
  • Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
