About the opportunity

Beginning at 6:00 am and based in Wollongong, you will oversee the A.M. shift of 35-40 Freight Handlers and Drivers, ensuring service and performance goals are consistently achieved. Your role involves analyzing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance processing operations. This position prioritizes ongoing efficiency enhancements within budget, striving for service excellence and aligning with business objectives.

You'll also

  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships with a focus on customer service

  • Lead innovation and change, introducing new practices for customer satisfaction
  • Produce data reports and conduct trend analysis for continuous improvement
  • Identify and resolve issues from offsite activities for service enhancement
  • Support decision-making with key stakeholders
  • Assist in budget management and implement financial controls
  • Create local plans to improve efficiency and service quality
  • Engage in customer site audits and provide requested information and reports
