ITION PURPOSE
The Client Account Services Associate Analyst (GCASA) is an office-based member of the team servicing clients in Australia.

The CASA is responsible for assisting the Client Account Team with the processing and management of rebates related to the T.

Rowe Price Australian Unit Trusts as well as the day-to-day query management for clients invested the Australian Unit Trusts. They will also be responsible for assisting with onboarding and client change activity on the separate account/mandate client accounts.


This individual will be expected to display significant initiative, be capable of working independently, and taking ownership of client servicing related queries and tasks from beginning to end.


This role will have regular contact and work closely with the Relationship Managers, Client Account Managers, Legal and Product Management teams as well as external Transfer Agency and administrators.


The CASA will complete or provide input to selected cyclical tasks associated with the Australian Unit Trusts' rebate processes, including calculation, preparation, and payment value verification as well as instruction of payments across TRP and external vendors, statement preparation and issue resolution.


The CASA will also be assisting in the creation of selected client and internal reports and client communications, fund static data updates and investment flows reporting.

Principal Responsibilities

Client Servicing for the Australian Unit Trust

  • First point of contact for daily answering queries from underlying clients of the Australian Unit Trust.
  • Dealing with Responsible Entity and external Transfer Agency in problem resolution where needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring client issues identified are addressed in a timely manner and ensure no client queries are outstanding at end of day.
Client change activity

  • Assisting with Client Implementation team with client account set up's
  • Dealing with external custodians, Responsible Entity, Product team, Investment Operations teams to facilitate client change management and onboarding activity.
  • Active participant on identified projects and initiatives impacting the Client Account Management Team.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely entry of fund cash flows into the firm's internal systems to communicate upcoming fund investment flows to the investment teams.
Facilitating the end-to-end fund rebate process for the Australian Unit Trust clients, including:

  • Preparing instructions to transfer agencies and internal T. Rowe Price departments of rebate rates and payments by specific deadlines each month.
  • Ensuring that the payment and reporting deadlines defined by internal and external administration parties as well as under client agreements are met.
  • Internal set up of rebate records for calculations accurately mirroring client agreed terms.
  • Ensuring client rebate statements are prepared and delivered to the relevant parties by set deadline.
  • Raising suggestions for improvements to the quality and effectiveness of rebate related processes and customer service.
  • Reconciling client accounts to internal systems/records.
  • Confirming any missing information with Client Account Managers and Relationship Managers to ensure records are maintained as accurately as possible.
  • Ensuring accounts are instructed to the relevant recipients accurately and in timely manner so as to avoid any delay in internal and external reporting.
  • Assisting with the process of preparing reports for internal and external clients as required.
  • Assisting with preparing client/distributor/data vendor updates of such communication and the applicable distribution list to be communicated to.
