YOUR ROLE


As a Procurement and Partnering Consultant you will be supporting the Corporate Procurement and Partnering team within the Procurement Partnering & Commercial function, to enable and optimise IAG's procurement and partner strategies and create sustainable value for the business.


As part of your role, you will be managing the day-to-day operations of performance, contractual and commercial aspects of our Partners, including but not limited to, supporting the effective functioning of IAG's internal and external governance obligations, deal and category planning and contract renegotiations, with particular focus on Business Services, HR and Professional sServices.

You will also be supporting the team's Leads in the preparation and management of partner agreements that drive consistency across all aspects, including but not limited to, performance, contractual, regulatory and risk management decisions for Australia and New Zealand

This is a full time, permanent role that is open to people based anywhere in Australia.
***This role offers flexible working conditions that support a mix of working from home and being in the office.

ABOUT YOU


We are looking for the right person, with a good attitude who will be a solid team fit with the following skills and experiences: - Proven experience in supplier management or procurement, including management of third-party suppliers, contract administration/management and contract negotiation, planning and execution of deals and category.


  • Desirable experience in non tech categories (Business services, HR & Professional Services)
  • Strong relationship development capability enabling the identification of new opportunities.
  • Interest in ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is highly desirable
  • Experience of working with offshore and culturally diverse teams
  • Strong stakeholder management, persuasion, relationship and influencing skills.
  • Experience in supporting change management activities in a complex, multistakeholder environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a large organisational sequence.
