What's on offer?

We wish to complement our existing team with experienced Supervisor for our Water/Civil Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Supervising and managing a self-performing team and subcontractors
  • Ensuring workers implement control measures to minimise risk to health and safety of themselves and others through SWMS, Special Processes and Corrective Actions
  • Reporting incidents, non-conformances and near misses and participate in incident investigations when required
  • Collaborating with project engineers/managers, mechanical / civil / electrical disciplines and other project stakeholders
  • Planning, calculating and monitoring daily cost of resources
  • Conducting toolbox talks and prestart meetings

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Previous experience as a field Supervisor working on Civil projects
  • Exposure to the water/wastewater industry advantageous
  • Proven commitment to leading safety, quality and environmental compliance on site
  • Strong people management skills, the ability to develop effective teams
  • Good on-site problem solving expertise.
  • A sound understanding of industrial construction methodologies and standards
