About the Role
The Coordinator IT Projects Services reports to the Manager Information Services and is responsible for the delivery of Council's IT Projects portfolio.

Key Functions include:

  • Delivery of IT Projects using standard project management methodologies.
  • Coordination and management of resources involved in the delivery of IT Projects.
  • Completing budget submissions and expenditure forecasting at a project and portfolio level.
  • Facilitating business engagement to ensure projects meet desired business outcomes.
  • Undertaking project reporting at a project and portfolio level.
  • Management of external parties including contractors and system vendors

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated significant experience in managing IT Projects in similar setting to the City of Darebin.
  • Demonstrated significant experience in managing a small team of technical staff and contractors.
  • Experience in managing IT vendors and external contractors.
  • Experience in undertaking tender processes for the acquisition of new or replacement IT systems.
