Job Description:

Our Family:

  • We are a friendly, busy family of three (two adults, one son) in Randwick. Our wonderful nanny is having shoulder surgery so can't drive for 610 weeks, so we're looking for someone to help out short term from Thursday 15th March until Friday 24th May (except for a break for school holidays which is 6th 29th April where we'd still love help but the schedule will be more flexible as he won't need to go to school).

Start Date:

Thursday 15th March or as soon as possible thereafter, until around 24th May depending on how his usual nanny's shoulder recovery goes.


Your Duties:

  • We are looking for someone to do dropoffs and pickups for our 8 year old son each morning/ afternoon from our home in Randwick to his school in Bondi Junction. After morning dropoff we'd ideally like you to come back to our place to do 12 hours of light housework including unpacking and repacking dishwasher, doing laundry and putting clean laundry away, watering plants and picking up toys/ putting them away.

Schedule is as follows:

  • Monday leave Randwick 7.30am, pickup 4pm and look after him until Tuesday leave Randwick 7.30am, pickup 4pm and look after him until Wednesday no dropoff (he has very early basketball) but pickup 4.30 and look after him until
  • Thursday leave Randwick 8.30, pickup 3.20 and look after him for 2 hours until Friday leave Randwick 8.40, pickup 3.30 and take to Coogee for cricket until 5.30

Our Perfect Caregiver:

  • We're looking for someone with a full drivers license, a car and be comfortable driving in Sydney Easter suburbs school traffic. The drive to/from school is usually 20 minutes as the traffic is bad. Our son is very sporty, so anyone who can play soccer or cricket with him in our backyard would be brilliant
