We are seeking a
pool of Trainers to deliver in Community Services Training in Fairfield, NSW.

We're currently seeking trainers for the following courses:

CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support

CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability

CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Oz Care Training employs most Trainers and Assessors on a casual/contract basis. All casual/contract Trainers are paid on a fortnightly basis.

Trainers and Assessors must meet the following criteria.


Hold TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A unit and TAEASS502 unit, or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher-level adult education qualification.

Hold the qualification/s they are delivering or be able to map their experience to the qualification(s) they are delivering.

Have recent experience, or have maintained industry currency in the relevant sector (e.g. Aged Care, Disability Care).

Have participated in activities or professional development ensuring a solid understanding of current VET practices and requirement.

Current National Police Check (for CHC qualifications) or be willing to obtain.

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

Microsoft Office Suite skills

For Trainers in Aged Care-related qualifications, being a Registered Nurse with current registration is also highly desirable.

The role is responsible for:

  • An engaging teaching style
  • Experience in relation to the management of time, resources, outcomes and tasks
  • An understanding of ASQA Standards, trainer requirements and assessment materials compliance
  • Assessing and recording student competency in line with the requirements of the training package being assessed
  • Preparing, maintaining, coordinating and evaluating teaching and learning resources
  • Undertaking administrative duties related to the program
  • Undertaking professional development in relevant industry, vocational, educational or other contexts on a regular basis

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 13 per week

Pay:
From $45.00 per hour
