About the role


Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development, this role is responsible for the development and implementation of the Group's internal and external marketing and communications activities in support of the Stoddart brand, sales objectives, corporate values, and company vision.

Key responsibilities include;
Development of internal and external communications activities in line with business strategy and priorities;
Provide leadership and mentoring to the marketing communications team;
Providing communications support and advice to the leadership team and leading the delivery of timely, employee focussed communications that drive awareness and engagement (including change comms, newsletters, intranet, presentations, Townhalls etc);
Manage the creation and development of internal and external marketing collateral for campaigns, customer pitches, operational support materials etc;
Managing the development and delivery of the social media strategy, including content creation, management and paid advertising activities across Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram;
Creation and delivery of high quality, engaging content for the company intranet, highlighting employee stories, wellbeing initiatives, customer news, events and operational business updates, monitoring and working to increase employee engagement;
Managing the Stoddart Group website including blogs, regular content updates, maintenance, and customer enquiries;
Develop and implement communication plans and activities for transformational change initiatives as required; and

Assist Executive Leaders with strategic marketing planning, analysis and reporting on marketing & communications activities.

To be considered for this role, your background and experience must meet the following criteria;
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business, or other relevant area;
Minimum 7 years' experience in a Marketing and Communications role, preferably in building, construction, manufacturing or other relevant industry with a B2B audience;
Proven experience in developing and delivering successful marketing and communication strategies and campaigns that support sales objectives;
A generalist skill set in marketing and communications, with strong campaign planning, content management, copywriting, and internal communications skills;
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and project management skills with the demonstrated ability to simplify messaging for a wide range of audiences;
Previous experience in managing a small team of marketing communications specialists, with an empowering, positive management style; and


Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and a passion for the power of communication to drive change and unite employees.
