  • This is a key role in the Sedgman business and is responsible for coordinating our global internal and external communication, community, branding and marketing activities. You will work closely with our senior management, the CIMIC communications team and other key stakeholders to ensure our messaging aligns with our corporate strategy.

This role will have the following key accountabilities

  • Manage the delivery of communications, marketing, and community investment initiatives across Sedgman globally.
  • In conjunction with key stakeholders, help implement a businesswide communications, marketing and community investment strategy, including internal, external, and multiplatform elements
  • Produce quarterly communications and marketing metrics, with supporting analysis and recommendations.
  • Maintain and manage the Sedgman website, including updating content, SEO audits, website architecture updates and monitoring Google Analytics
  • Liaise with vendors to produce digital marketing materials
- brief and educate Sedgman senior leaders to be brand ambassadors to market Sedgman's capabilities (technical and metals) and culture (to retain and attract the best)

  • Engage agencies for creative execution of emotive brand ads/campaigns
  • In consultation with Managing Director and CIMIC, draft media releases, external presentations and updates as required.

What you will need for success in this role

  • Hold a Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations
  • Held a lead role in the marketing and communication space in a corporate environment
  • A clear understanding of the best strategies to deliver our messaging across to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work with and support our management team in internal communications.
  • Ability to work with the broader CIMIC group on large projects including website upgrades.
