Eden Ritchie has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager to join their Project Delivery Team.


You will deliver expertise across Contract Management services to support and deliver high quality contract solutions with the commercial space.


You will be involved in undertaking a hands-on-role across a lucrative program of work, you will also be responsible for the management of big projects with a budget of up to $350M, as part of the scope to work for the Stations Upgrade Program.


As a Contract Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Review design submission packages and provide commentary where necessary
  • Monitor program and provide monthly review
  • Provide technical advice
  • Work with the Project team to determine acceptance or rejection of design packages under the Contract.
  • High level of skill in the administration of contracts for Rail infrastructure projects and/or rail system supply/ installation works.
  • Experience in managing AS2123, AS4900, AS4000 or equivalent contracts.
  • Extensive knowledge of the requirements for railway infrastructure construction and maintenance, and how they impact on railway operation to ensure the safety of passengers, workers and trains.
  • High level of skill in meeting statutory, regulatory and policy obligations, particularly in relation to satisfy the safety, environment, contract processes and Human Resource requirements in a commercially focused business.
  • High level leadership, people management, interpersonal, planning, coordination and negotiation skills.
  • High level of skill in monitoring budgets and preparation of contract management reports (budget is up to $350 million).

Highly Desirable:

  • A qualification in Construction Management or Engineering
  • Superintendent/supers representative experience (experience within a building company previously is highly advantageous)
  • Experience working on government infrastructure projects

This role will be based onsite full time (between the corporate office and on the building sites as part of the project works)
