What you'll do:


As a Contract Manager in Information and Communication Technology, you will play a crucial role in driving change within our client's organisation.

You will be responsible for analysing existing contract management practices, identifying areas for improvement, implementing standardised practices, and fostering better processes.

Your ability to understand complex contractual requirements will be key as you work towards improving supplier performance monitoring.

Furthermore, your skills in training, guidance, mentoring, and record keeping will contribute significantly to the overall success of this role.

Analyse current contract management and administration practices, identifying areas for improvement across process, technology, capacity, and capability
Identify capacity and capability requirements across the portfolio to provide uplift
Implement standardised practices regarding contract management/administration and delivery
Acquire and develop an understanding of multiple contract requirements and terms agreed with suppliers
Implement improved ways of working with the Portfolio Office and contract management staff to monitor supplier performance
Provide training, guidance, and mentoring regarding contract management practices and administration
Articulate the linkages between contract management/administration and financial reporting requirements
Design and implement contract management records ensuring they are retained in accordance with the Records retention and disposal schedule
