The Clinical Governance Lead will ensure the quality and safety of health care service is first and foremost, through ensuring subcontractor adherence to the Clinical Governance Framework for Australian Defence Force Careers.

Description


Reporting to the Head of Health Services, you will work with the medical and psychological services sub-contractor to ensure adherence to the framework.


You will:

  • Manage stakeholder engagement across Adecco, subcontractor and ADF Careers
  • Contribute to ADF Careers Clinical Governance Framework and ensure subcontractor compliance
  • Conduct Quality Assurance checks and audits, including site, clinical, credentialing, training audits and accreditation.
  • Chair clinical governance meetings
  • Manage and coordinate reporting, information and data

Profile


To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of 5+ years as a senior clinician in Nursing or Allied Health.

Experience in clinical governance or quality assurance roles will be highly desirable.

A Bachelors' degree preferably in Health Sciences, Nursing or Allied Sciences is desirable.

Your background will demonstrate:

  • Exceptional communication both verbal and written, including report writing, and a strong business acumen
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in working with business partners to identify solutions to business problems
  • Highly developed interpersonal and decision making skills, coupled with the ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience working in a fastpaced, highgrowth environment and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in high growth environments.
  • Knowledge and experience in governance and information management
  • Ability to adapt communication style when required to suit audience needs
  • Highly motivated and inquisitive individual with high attention to detail
  • Initiative towards work and identifying new opportunities for the business and personal growth
