**What you'll be doing**

The Whole of Health (Mental Health) Lead is a senior nurse manager who is required to work in collaboration with all sites and services across ISLHD Mental Health Services to ensure coordinated, timely and efficient patient journeys, and supports the transfer of care processes within the ISLHD Mental Health Service and is responsible for the Whole of Health data and associated KPIs.
The key responsibilities of the role include:

- Operational responsibility for daily access to health services provided by Mental Health Services, and strategic collaboration with other sites, divisions and services to develop models of care which support the integration of patient journeys across Mental Health Services.
- Fostering the development of a robust framework for patient access management (patient flow) across the continuum of care, focusing on integration of services and the achievement of key performance indicators.
- The Whole of Health (Mental Health) Lead is responsible as the first response to the Mental Health REACH calls in business hours.

The Whole of Health (Mental Health) Lead supports the MHS Executive on site within business hours, is included in the After-Hours On-Call Executive roster.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

**Selection Criteria**
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and current NSW Driver's License.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards the same; or alternatively relevant work experience or combination of qualification and work experience.
- Demonstrated skills in leadership and management within the healthcare setting.
- Sound knowledge and demonstrated expertise in current clinical practice in the mental health care settings.
- Well developed and demonstrated leadership skills in a healthcare setting, including proven high level interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work priorities and deliver quality outcomes with a fixed deadline.
- Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture and articulate and achieve a vision for nursing services.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and confidence in using Microsoft and relevant health care information systems.
