LOWTHER HALL
Lowther Hall is an inclusive school for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12, committed to
excellence for all. Situated in Essendon, it is the only Anglican independent school for girls in
the area. The School has an enrolment of 900, a size which enables each girl to be known
as an individual. Lowther Hall is a learning community in which staff and students work
together to achieve the shared goal of educating the whole girl for the whole of life.

The Operations and Events Coordinator plays a key role in assisting in the following areas:

  • Provide assistance with set up and pack up of school activities and events Including
classroom, assembly and off-site activities

  • Provide technical light and sound or IT support at events
  • Accept and distribute any deliveries and mail around the school
  • Move furniture as required for school programs
  • Assist with the set up of offsite activities such as sport carnivals
  • Transport items to offsite events as required
  • Deliver and collect items from the School's storage facilities
  • Assist with the creation of events in the school ticketing system
  • Assist with event styling and presentation of school events
  • Assist with food and beverage service, set up and pack down at school events
  • Provide administrative support for events such as signage, run sheets, and

- communications
  • Comply with all school policies including all workplace health and safety instructions
  • Perform other duties as requested

SELECTION CRITERIA
Applicants should provide a statement of no more than 300 words which outlines the ways in

which they fulfil the following criteria:

  • High level of fitness
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capacity to problem solve
  • Flexible availability
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a team whilst delivering
exceptional customer service

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong physical capabilities
  • Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate - with a commitment to on-going
training

  • Current asthma and anaphylaxis management certificate
  • Responsible Serving of Alcohol or willingness to obtain it
  • Holds a Driver's Licence
  • A current WWC registration
  • Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Record Check upon
appointment

  • Familiarity with Audio Visual, lighting and sound equipment would be an advantage
