About the Role

Joining us as a Senior Manager Non-Traded Market Risk, you'll be part of a vibrant team responsible for the oversight and analysis of BOQ Group's Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) risk exposures.

This opportunity is instrumental in assisting with the development and operational function of a new suite of oversight reports, checks, and controls in Non-Traded Market Risk. You will also provide valuable insights and detailed analysis into trends, forecasts, and emerging risks in association with this space. Excitingly, this position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with internal teams such as Treasury and Finance, as well as engage with external stakeholders including regulators and industry working groups.

If you are a Non-Traded Market Risk leader with a keen interest in market risk and a passion for detailed analysis and insight generation, this role is your chance to contribute significantly to the risk management framework of BOQ Group and really make a difference within the banking arena.

About you

We're looking for an enthusiastic risk professional with relevant experience in Liquidity, Stress Testing, IRRBB, Balance Sheet Management, or another related modelling discipline. You should hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, mathematics, or economics, coupled with strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

You're highly skilled in SQL and Excel (including VBA), and have familiarity with using QRM or other equivalent systems. You have the confidence to collaborate and challenge a range of audiences from technical modelling specialists to Front Office dealers.
