Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Business Controller, Oceania, your role involves providing essential financial and strategic support to the business and market area. This includes analyzing historical, current, and future performance data, as well as assisting in the implementation of activities to support sales and service operations within the Market Area.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner to management by providing financial insights, conducting business analysis, and utilizing data for decision-making processes. Drive planning, performance management, and controlling activities while challenging financial performance.
  • Lead the planning, forecasting, and reporting processes in collaboration with Market Area Finance Head. Analyze service business line performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Effectively communicate financial performance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to achieving common business control objectives within Cargotec and Kalmar, including the Kalmar Services and Mobile Equipment divisions.
  • Authorized to:
    • Propose and execute corrective actions in collaboration with relevant teams to maintain control effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Work with the Services organization to address financial performance issues.
What you'll need to succeed

Education

  • Hold a B.Sc/M.Sc in finance, accounting, or related field.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration, networking, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Hyperion, SAP, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix organizational structure.
