Occupational Therapist Assistant / Internship - Casual / Part Time Position

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated
Occupational Therapy student to join our practice on a part time basis to gain some relevant experience during their Occupational Therapy degree.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will assist:

• Delivering services in capacity as a Therapy Assistant (supervised and directed by the qualified OT) for Adults with disabilities. This could be training or therapy with clients and their families/ supports
• Developing resources
• Researching equipment/ aids/ services, gathering quotes
• Supporting the administration team in reception on a routine and ad hoc duties
• Assisting with marketing activities as required

Position Requirements:

• Currently studying a degree in Occupational Therapy
• Working with Children Check (for Paid work) & NDIS Worker Check
• Current driver's license and access to a vehicle for work (KMs will be reimbursed)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management
• Potential flexibility in schedule
