A bit about the role...


Working within a Workforce Australia specialist contract; Ex-Offenders Program as the Area Manager, you are responsible for working closely with the Business Managers in the Region to drive a performance driven culture that prides itself on the quality-of-service delivery.

The Area Manager may be assigned other duties as necessary, supporting the leadership team in activities such as advocacy and event planning.

These activities will ensure clients and stakeholders receive quality service provision, while ensuring that BUSY Ability exceeds statutory body key performance indicators and contractual obligations.


This position is full-time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2025 with possibility of extension, based in any of our BUSY Ability office's in the Sunshine Coast or Wide Bay region.

Working hours 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday, in office with the ability to travel regularly between serviced sites.

  • Minimum 2yrs experience in a similar role or a relevant qualification.

  • Sound knowledge of multiple aspects of Employment Services at a Senior management level
  • Excellent communication, time management and relationship management skills

  • Strong client focus and desire to be a part of a growing, high achieving, successful service organization
  • Certificate IV in Employment Services (or the ability to obtain)
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check
