THE COMPANY
***Up-and-coming logistics and transportation company that have a massive finance backing. A separation from its father company they have a myriad of ambitions for growth across the Australian landscape.
THE ROLE:
- Analyze large volumes of data, merging discrete data sets, working with data cubes, incomplete data to develop insights.
- Develop business cases and capital expenditure plans.
- Perform commercial assessment of opportunities
- ROI, ROCE, IRR, NPV, etc.
- Develop budgets and forecasts.
- Perform business process mapping and review.
- Understand and develop business requirements.
- Work with data and metrics across all areas of the business financial, operational, sales, cost, project.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Solve problems with a focus on solutions.
TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
***- Strong commercial and numerical acumen.
- Strong experience in analytics and statistical methods is essential.
- Modelling capability is desirable.
- Strong reporting and report development skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to deal with large volumes of data.
- Business case development / capital expenditure development.
- Commercial assessment of opportunities
- ROI, ROCE, IRR, NPV, etc.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Experience in business process mapping and business process review.
- Experience in understanding and development of business requirements.
- Familiarity with working with data and metrics across all areas of a business financial, operational, sales, cost, project.
- Strong communication skills verbal, written, presentation.
- Strong problemsolving capability and a focus on solutions.
To be successful, you must be someone who works collaboratively with the team and can adapt to high pressure environments.
