Due an exciting upcoming project our client are seeking
multiple IT Desktop Support Technicians to join their team immediately with contracts offered through to March 2024.

Working in this environment you'll gain valuable exposure and work as part of a busy team to provide high-level support to a range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responsible for incident management and request fulfilment of end-user devices.
  • Queue management utilsing internal systems and tools.
  • Build and preparation of Windows OS and Office 365 devices for deployment.
  • Providing effective and engaging facetministration.
  • Compiling and troubleshooting issues escalating as required for efficient resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to proactively solve stakeholder requests.
  • Prior experience in a similar level position within a complex government organisation
  • A minimum
    Baseline Clearance although
    NV1/NV2 would be preferred

Additional role details:

  • Casual position approximately 38 hours per week whilst some additional hours may be required
  • Central Canberra location close to public transport
  • An hourly rate is offered between $45 $60 inclusive of casual loading + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances.
