Overview

The Women's and Children's Health Network offers cutting-edge healthcare for women and children in Adelaide and South Australia.

They are the state's top provider of specialized care for children with acute and chronic conditions, the largest maternity and obstetric service in SA, and offer crucial community-based services, with CAMHS being an essential part.

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a community-based mental health service provided through WCHN in South Australia, catering to individuals with severe and/or complex mental health needs, such as infants, children, young people, and perinatal women.

Join the team and aid in providing top-notch healthcare to South Australia's women, babies, children, and young people either in the hospital or through community services.

The Opportunity

Exciting opportunities await to join the CAMHS team as a Clinical Psychologist AHP1 or as AHP2 if provisionally registered and completing Master's Degree requirements within 6 months of starting employment.

As a CAMHS Clinical Psychologist, your responsibilities include;

• Delivering top-notch mental health services for children, adolescents, and their families
• Providing evidence-based interventions
• Offering expert advice and continuously improving your clinical knowledge within a diverse team
• Aiding in identifying mental health needs in the community
• Conducting reliable psychometric assessments
• Demonstrating proficiency in various evidence-based therapeutic techniques
