We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to provide support for our Accounts Payable Department. This is a part time (0.4FTE), fixed term (12-months) position currently based in Ballart with WFH/Hybrid options available.About the role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake accounts payable assessment and processing for delivery o accurate payment of creditor accounts within AV policies, procedures, and delegations,
- Maintain accurate records and maintain confidentiality of account details compliant with record management, data security, and privacy legislation,
- Ensure accounts payable tasks adhere to defined processes governed by AV procedures and policies for compliance with service delivery performance and statutory obligations,
- Act as a first point of contact for creditor queries, maintaining a high standard of customer service to enhance AV's reputation.
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- Certificate in Business/Finance or equivalent (desirable),
- Demonstrated experience working in an accounts payable department,
- Proven proficient accounts payable skills with an ability to meet performance output targets,
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality control,
- Be competent at an intermediate level in Microsoft Office.
It is also expected that you are professional and mature with sound judgement to ensure matters of a confidential or sensitive nature are handled appropriately and diplomatically.
You will also need to be diligent with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision with established problem solving skills to enable the identification of issues and judgement to determine appropriate courses of action.
