About the Role


Reporting to Director of Shared Services, you will manage the national Probity team who are responsible for processing probity transactions including national Criminal Record Checks and Working with Children Checks across all worker types including employees, carers, volunteers and contractors.

This is a permanent full-time role, location flexible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, coach, support, motivate and develop team members to enable them to deliver to the best of their ability.
  • Work with the Director, Shared Services to develop and implement strategic and operational plans to manage Probity and Screening Services.
  • Manage all probity processes, system use and reports.
  • Develop key SLAs and ensure completion of duties within set timeframes for all processes.
  • Lead the development of systems that enable crossskilling and efficient utilization of resources and knowledge within the Shared Services team.

Skills & Responsibilities

  • Experience in developing new systems and implementing technologies and new business processes
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in leading highperformance teams with excellence in service delivery, including the ability to support a team virtually.
  • Demonstrated experience across probity transactional delivery, including new and renewals.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing advice and support to management.
  • Demonstrated experience in award and employment contract interpretation.
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies, and government agencies.
  • Shared services or HR background highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and IT to support projects preferred.
