About us
About the role

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Regional General Manager provides strategic advice for the entire Barwon South West region and delivers strategic outcomes to address issues affecting the region and the Community Correctional Services as a whole.

The Regional General Manager, will work from and travel to locations within the region and manage the day-to-day operations of that CCS region, along with having direct line management responsibilities for the Managers across court, parole and post sentence and community work streams, including a number of other specialist positions.

The Regional General Manager is a member of a region's executive management team.

In that capacity, the position has a significant role to play in providing strategic advice for the entire region and delivering strategic outcomes to address issues affecting the region and CCS as a whole.

About you

We are seeking someone who can think outside the box, a positive leader who is able to motivate, develop and inspire their team while determining resource allocations to deliver services.

A relevant qualification in social work or related human services discipline (preferred) or criminal justice, criminology (desirable) with work experience in a legislative framework (desirable)

  • Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)
Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
