We currently have a very exciting opportunity in the Integration Management Office (IMO ) based in Sydney.

Reporting to both the Global Head of Procurement and the IMO Program Director ,this role is responsible for leading the procurement activity for the IMO as a global individual contributor, where the individual will identify and lead integration of cost optimisation opportunities while working collaboratively with other workstream leads and Procurement.

  • Working closely with the Procurement team, develop creative Procurement strategies across our global spend to create synergies.
  • Lead and coordinate activities to identify key contracts and vendors to consolidate, novate, co-term or terminate etc and ensure a seamless execution.
  • Partner with other IMO workstream Leads, to Identify integration synergies across all functions (including Market Data, Technology, Trading technologies, Finance ), collaborate as needed to identify issues or roadblocks with achieving the target.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (across the globe) to action approved strategies to realise benefits of identified synergies, including sourcing activity, setting up panels and negotiating contracts inline with the Outsourcing Policy and the Procurement Policy.
  • Negotiating outcomes that meet business needs including risk mitigation, total cost of ownership reduction, sustainability and value beyond cost, whilst being respectful of the vendor and our ongoing relationship with them.
  • Provide fortnightly reporting for the Vendor Management Workstream to the IMO and the Procurement Team, and attend meetings as required.
  • Work with the Procurement team to continuously improve the procurement and sourcing M&A playbook.
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:

An experienced lead who will take ownership of all aspects of the vendor management integration, you possess a minimum of 8 to 10+ years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the financial services industry.- Extensive experience in the development, creation and execution of Category Management Strategies with measurable and achievable savings/reductions and value extraction;- Extensive experience & hands on experience executing all aspects of the end to end procurement lifecycle - including category strategy and management, source to contract market activities, negotiation and execution, contractual / deal expertise, financial and spend analysis expertise, and vendor risk management.- Strong background in M&A Integration experience- Excellent written, analytical and verbal skills to communicate with vendors, internal stakeholders, senior management and customers;- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable project management skills tracking and managing complex cross functional projects.

- Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to think innovatively; using commercial and financial acumen- Experience working in a Transformation and/or Change Management environment- Technical ability to review legal contract language and synthesise key commercial issues for sourcing and procurement integration
