Job Purpose

  • This role entails being the technical lead for installation and upgrades of AHS systems.
  • Installing, supporting, and customizing Modular products to align with the project scope defined by the client.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 25%.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute AHS projects and product deployments to ensure quality delivery as outlined in the Scope of Works (SOW).
  • Collaborate with Komatsu Australia Project Managers to implement Frontrunner and Dispatch systems at client sites.
  • Address issues promptly to relevant stakeholders if they may hinder project execution.
  • Offer troubleshooting and diagnose system issues during installations, supporting and coaching engineers involved in the project.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to users both internally and externally at AHS mine sites.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvements (CI) and develop materials like reports, manuals, presentations, and process maps for internal training.
  • Maintain the local simulation environment with updated versions of Frontrunner and Dispatch to meet the needs of the AHS Operations Supervisor.
  • Participate in regular meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle ad hoc projects as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in project management methodology.
  • Solid understanding of specific Modular products like FMS/AHS.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mining, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
  • Thorough knowledge of mining operations, with AHS experience being advantageous.
