The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to support KBR's delivery of existing nuclear projects and provide additional capacity to organically develop nuclear expertise within the business. Longer term this organically grown nuclear expertise will enhance KBR's capabilities allowing KBR to offer additional services and capture new nuclear related markets that will emerge in time.

A significant part of the role includes the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams delivering the projects and assist with transfer of knowledge, skills and experience related to nuclear design, engineering, and safety assurance. An important aspect of the role is the development of internal processes and procedures.

Who are you?

To be successful in this position you require an Engineering degree or other relevant qualification along with Minimum 10 years' overall experience in the nuclear industry .

Knowledge, experience, and ability of the following is required :

  • Safety informed design process
  • Technical design substantiation
  • Application of nuclear design standards and codes
  • Construction and commissioning of facilities and infrastructure
  • Regulation and Licensing
  • Nuclear Management Systems, Processes and Procedures
  • Nuclear Training development and delivery
  • Management of a Nuclear Supply Chain
  • Must have or be eligible for Defence security clearance.
