We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

  • Occupational Therapist: This role is based in Far North Queensland (FNQ), Cairns, Australia.

We are in search of an Occupational Therapist (OT) who is passionate about working for an organization that prioritizes both employee development and client care. The ideal candidate will hold a valid registration with AHPRA and will work with adult, adolescent, and pediatric NDIS participants within the community, aligning with the goals and policies of Independent Support Solutions (ISS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in providing Occupational Therapy services according to professional standards and NDIS requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop therapy plans, work with interdisciplinary teams, and facilitate client goal achievement.
  • Offer full admin support, manageable caseloads, career progression, and above-award rates.
  • Requirements include AHPRA registration, relevant checks, first aid, driver's license, and communication skills.

Support Coordinator:

  • Location: Far North Queensland (FNQ), Cairns, Australia.

As a Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting participants with their NDIS-funded plans, ensuring quality supports and value for money. Responsibilities include coordination, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.

Support Worker:

  • Location: Far North Queensland (FNQ), Cairns, Australia.

In this position, you will support individuals with disabilities, offering person-centred care and assistance in daily living activities. Requirements include relevant certifications, understanding of trauma-based behaviors, and a commitment to quality care.

House Coordinator:

  • Location: Far North Queensland (FNQ), Cairns, Australia.

The House Coordinator will lead a team of Support Workers, ensuring service delivery aligns with organizational standards. Skills required include effective communication, team management, and adherence to care plans.
