Driving a concrete agitator truckfor Hanson is more than just going from A to B and back again. Our Agitatordrivers provide high levels of customer service to our clients receiving ourproducts, becoming the face of our business. As an Agi Driver, you will bemaking multiple deliveries throughout the day and interacting with lots ofdifferent people. Every day will be different, there's nothing routine aboutthis role

We are currently seeking Agitator Drivers for an immediate start to work on a day shift roster basedout of our mobile batching plant in Coffs Harbour.

These roles are a fixed termposition currently expected to end in August 2025 , working within our CoffsHarbour Mobiles Project team.

About the role:

Most days will start between 4-6am and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per shift, and around 50 – 55 hours per week. Saturday work may be available, paid at overtime rates
We pay a base rate and once you go past your regular hours in one day the first two after that will be at time and a half. If you do more than 2 hours overtime in a day, you go to double time. Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift
As we mentioned, driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before
We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads
All new starts go through a 10-day training program on the day shift before we let you loose by yourself

About you:

Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)
You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite
You prefer variety in your working life. No two days are ever the same when you're driving one of our Agi trucks
You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck.
Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Hanson sites)
Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may be required to be under a specified weight for these trucks
