Project Manager – GAS

Zinfra collaborates with businesses in the utility and infrastructure industries to provide maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. Our work plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets for our partners.

About the role:

The Project Manager is responsible for all project management and leadership tasks on multiple Gas Services Non-Routine projects with values of up to $30M. This includes planning, executing, controlling, and closing all project aspects, aligned with Jemena's Project Management Methodology to ensure successful project delivery.

Projects encompass CAPEX and OPEX projects outlined in Jemena's Asset Management Plans and/or the Capital Operating Works Plan (COWP). These projects involve asset protection, relocation, and development for Jemena, major developers, or Government entities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating in a safe environment and implementing HSE initiatives.
  • Engaging, collaborating, and sharing knowledge with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Directing and influencing project team and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrating commercial acumen considering business strategy.
  • Ensuring continuous improvements and information monitoring meet standards.
  • Identifying, assessing, and managing risks effectively.

About you:

  • Experience in engineering or construction project management (Experience in delivering utility projects is preferred).
  • Desired - Bachelor of Engineering (recognized by Engineers Australia).
  • Required or ability to obtain - Diploma of Project Management or higher.
  • Understanding and application of Project Management methodology (e.g., PMBOK or similar).
