Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services. NHW is seeking applications from Occupational Therapists who are team focused, enthusiastic and interested in pursuing opportunities to diversify and enhance their skills within a growing allied health team.

The grade one therapist will participate in our rotational program which includes; acute (medical/surgical), inpatient rehabilitation and community services six months rotations which are supported by a senior Grade 2 therapist. We provide regular supervision, grade one peer support, new graduate allied health program and prioritise internal and external professional development opportunities.

The Grade 1 OT will work with a collaboration of clients, their families and multidisciplinary staff, both across the organisation and with external service providers, and actively participate in supervision and continuing professional development.

Our Region:

  • Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30,000 and our catchment serves a community of around throughout the northeast.
