Our client is a global financial institution and a highly recognized brand.

This role is part of their global Network Operations Control Centre in Sydney.

They are currently searching for a Network Operations Analyst (NOC) to join their team and play a vital role in the Global Infrastructure Monitoring and Support Operations.

A thorough training program will be offered to the chosen candidate with an immediate start date.

The Operations Control Centre operates 24/7/365, so the NOC Analyst will be working night shifts (6pm to 6am), including weekends. Parking facilities will be provided. The 12-hour shift rotation includes 3 nights one week and 4 nights the following week.

The ideal candidate will have several years of practical experience in a similar capacity, such as a NOC Operator or Network Analyst assisting external clients in a 24/7/365 environment.

In addition to the technical competencies outlined below, excellent communication skills, a professional phone etiquette, and a strong customer-centric approach are essential traits.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Offer continuous technical operations support for global infrastructure;
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience monitoring critical infrastructure and managing Incidents and Changes;
  • Routinely conduct data analysis to evaluate performance and identify enhancement areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Incident, Change, and Problem Management;
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely resolution of Incidents and escalations;
  • Monitor traffic, system performance, and central site processing, promptly addressing anomalies or escalating as necessary;
  • Execute quarterly Releases and patch deployments and route central site and customer traffic efficiently.

Requirements to be Addressed in Your Application:

  • Relevant IT Degree or equivalent practical experience in a similar setting;
  • Intermediate understanding of routing, switching, tunneling, and MPLS;
  • Extensive experience in post-event/incident analysis;
  • Proficient in Networks, MPLS, OSPF, OSI, file transfer, Single or Dual messages, etc;
  • CCNP certification at a minimum;
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities;
  • Equally important: Keenness for continuous learning, ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, and effective organizational abilities. The role necessitates teamwork, resilience, and autonomy.
