_Exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and creative learning solutions designer to support the delivery of innovative and engaging learning experiences across our business_
We are looking for a passionate Learning Solutions Designer to join our Learning and Capability Team at Melbourne Airport.


As a digital learning specialist and experienced learning advisor, you will identify, scope and deliver end-to-end blended learning solutions across the business, to achieve learning and business outcomes and drive capability development.

This will include the design of interactive and engaging online and blended learning solutions, the development of compliance and job-specific learning, and the management of our new Learning Management System.


This will require you to partner with a wide range of stakeholders and SMEs to consult on learning needs and capability expectations; manage the curation of learning pathways, approaches and content; develop and deliver high impact learning experiences; and evaluate and act on data insights to ensure the effectiveness of learning solutions in partnership with the Head of Learning & Capability.

Key responsibilities:

The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate within the Learning & Capability Team to design and develop online learning solutions that meet agreed learning and business outcomes
  • Design learning (digital, eLearning and blended) solutions that are interactive, engaging, relevant, memorable, and build the right capabilities
  • Develop high quality learning content templates that establish a recognisable brand image for Learning & Capability while meeting company brand guidelines
  • Be the trusted advisor for questions and information regarding the development of online learning and the LMS
  • Manage the successful deployment of online learning, including the management of supporting systems and platforms, and the effective communication to key audience groups
  • Partner with stakeholders to create interactive and engaging learning content and experiences utilising a range of techniques
  • Be proactive in driving the learning agenda, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple programs of work
  • Source, manage, analyse and present learning data to support strategic and operational learning decisions and plans

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years demonstrated experience in developing SCORMcompliant learning courses
  • Strong understanding of eLearning, learner experience and adult learning principles
  • Management of Learning Management System (LMS) platforms (Cornerstone ideally)
  • Experience managing multiple learning projects and/or initiatives
  • The ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • A positive team player with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn
