Job Description*The Opportunity:We, at Flywire, are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable
  • Financial Operations Supervisor to join our team.

    Reporting directly to the Financial Operations Manager, you will manage a team of 1-3 individuals and provide financial and operational support for our insurance and international payments business.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Providing support to insurance renewals and extensions
  • Handling reconciliations, refunds, commissions, and daily, weekly, and monthly payments
  • Processing payments and documents, such as invoices and journal vouchers, into the company's accounting software
  • Posting financial data to appropriate accounts in the accounting system
  • Entering, updating, and retrieving accounting data from systems
  • Reconciling transactions, financial data, and other information to the company's accounting system
  • Managing the company's accounting software
  • Performing banking, invoicing, and credit card reconciliation
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and ensuring the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and compliance with statutory requirements
  • Classifying tax and preparing BAS reporting
  • Verifying compliance
  • Maintaining internal control systems
  • Conducting adhoc research activities as required
Qualifications*Here's What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a role related to accounting, operations, and customer support
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a finance or accounting related field
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Customerfocused with proven interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and escalation abilities
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Preferred experience in the international education sector.
