THE OPPORTUNITY


TAFE NSW are looking for qualified, experienced individuals who wish to be considered for casual Assessor opportunities in the Business Services teaching sections within TAFE Digital.

The Assessor will carry out independent assessments and grading for students, with a focus to support students in achieving the completion of tasks and identify areas that may require further training.


Assessors are required for the following specialist sectors:

  • WHS
  • Accounting
  • Business Services Leadership
  • Leadership and Management
  • Entrepreneurship and new Small Business
  • Government
  • Project Management
  • Training and Assessment

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Hold one of the following or higher vocational qualifications:
  • Certificate III in WHS
  • Certificate III in Accounting
  • Certificate III in Business/Business Administration
  • Certificate III in Leadership and Management
  • Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and new small business
  • Certificate III in Project management
  • Certificate IV in Government
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the last 5 years, post qualification achieved.
  • Hold a TAE 40116 Assessor skill set or equivalent
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the content of learning materials and the processes used in the discipline and a commitment to maintain professional currency.
