TAFE NSW is looking for individuals to join our Fine Arts team of teachers on a casual basis with specialisation in printmaking (lithography highly desired), sculpture, ceramics, photography (darkroom), art history or illustration.


To succeed in this role you will be passionate and motivated about sharing your industry experience and knowledge to a student cohort from a wide range of backgrounds.

You will also have the ambition and drive to collaborate more widely across the Creative & Design Ideation team.

If you have.

  • Minimum qualification of Diploma of Visual Arts or equivalent in a related field.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent (* see scholarship opportunity note)
  • 3+ years post qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments.
  • Evidence demonstrating current and relevant professional and practical industry experience with link to current showreel and/or portfolio of work.

Therefore, we want you to discover the teacher within you.

If you don't have a current teaching qualification, but you do have a passion and commitment for your industry, you may be eligible for Certificate IV Training and Assessment scholarship and once you have completed the studies, you will hold the qualification needed to become a Trainer and Assessor with TAFE NSW.
