Peter Berry Consultancy (PBC) has a great opportunity for an experienced Consultant to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. In this role you will drive the implementation of our best practice human capital solutions across selection and development projects, talent management, advice and research. You will be responsible for growing client relationships through effective account management and as a trusted advisor in building solutions that deliver to our clients' needs. We work across all industries and government sectors.

PBC has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand, and has experienced year on year growth of more than 25% over the past 3 years. PBC works on the premise that science informs practice, and we therefore use diagnostics at the core of all our human capital solutions. We represent Hogan Assessments (USA) in Australia and New Zealand and we are the publisher of the Hogan 360. We use these assessments along with team diagnostics, data analytics, engagement, and safety surveys to build integrated assessment, consulting and coaching solutions for our clients. PBC is also well known for our research and thought leadership expertise. This role would support distributors of PBC's products and services in Australia and globally.

Key responsibilities:

As a PBC Consultant your responsibilities may include:

  • Selection, development and coaching of managers and executives
  • Client group facilitation workshops and presentations
  • Design and delivery of complex client projects
  • Extensive external and internal stakeholder management
  • Client account management and relationship building
  • Subject matter expertise on best practice application of assessment to PBC teams and clients

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Psychology or relevant discipline. Value placed on Masters of Organisational Psychology (or working towards)
  • At least 3 years' experience working in a similar or relevant role.
  • The application of psychometric assessments across the entire employee lifecycle
  • Working across teams and with senior management to deliver client outcomes
  • Building strategic client relationships
  • Analytical and consultation skills
  • High attention to detail and professionalism
  • Certification in Hogan assessments is helpful, although not essential.
