Clinical Director Hospital in the Home, Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist or SMO (Rural Generalist or GP) - CAIRNSThe purpose of the role is to ensure development and maintenance of a Hospital in the Home Service for the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, ensuring appropriate, effective, efficient, integrated, safe clinical services in accordance with contemporary standards.
The role provides Clinical Leadership and assumes overall Clinical Responsibility for the Hospital in the Home Service.The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers a large geographic area with a diverse and growing population.
The Health Service provides a wide range of primary care, acute and specialist services.

Remuneration value up to $ p.a.(L25 – L27) or Remuneration value up to $ p.a.
(L18 – L24), Remuneration value up to $ p.a.
(L1- L18) employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a.
and private practice arrangements.
Temporary part time position, 40 hrs p.f.
12 Aug 2024 up to 30 June 2025 Applications will remain current for 12 Months.
