Our client seeks anIsolations and Permit Officerto join the site team on Western Range. On offer is an initial 12 month project on a 2 and 1 rotation from Perth.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Role model safe work practices and promote a positive safety culture.

  • Daily planning, implementation and monitoring of permits and isolations.

  • Supervise and coordinates the activities relating to daily work permits.

  • Develop and approve isolation strategy.

  • Conduct walkdowns and verification checks with the client to ensure all Isolation Procedures are adhered to.

  • Control the isolation implementation and ensure that the isolations are in place prior to allowing a work permit to go live.

  • To ensure that all the jobs are carried out as per operating procedures and standards.

  • Liaise with Site Construction and Engineering Leads to ensure efficient work flows.

What you'll have

  • Previous experience with an Electrical background desirable.

  • Previous experience as a Permit Officer, Isolations Officer or similar on RTIO site.

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge with Permit to Work and Isolation/Tagging systems and applicable legislation.

  • All required site statutory competencies as referenced in the site health and safety management system.
