  • Taxonomy Experience
  • Experience in Data Warehousing and Database Modelling, such as dimension tables and ERD.
  • Experience in Data Migration, Data Quality Analysis, Data Reconciliation
  • Experience in building Data Models, Star Schema for large data sets.
  • Experience in ETL Tools for Design, Development and Testing.
  • Some level of experience in Data Mapping and Migration Scripting
  • Some level of experience in SQL Querying, reporting and documentation.
  • Some level of experience in how to work with PII (Personally Identifiable Information) data.
  • Some level of experience supporting Data Engineers and Tech Ba's.
  • NOT a visualization or statistical modelling or machine learning role. Similarly PowerBI and Python are not important as this stage.

For clarity:
Data Modelling

  • Understands relationships, cardinality, and optionality.
  • Understands normalisation and denormalization.
  • Understands conceptual, logical, physical modelling.
  • Developed Enterprise Data Models to support Boyce Codd Normal Form, or IBM industry data models. Preferred but not a show stopper.
  • Designed and implemented Kimball or Inmon Dimensional Modelling. Preferred but not a show stopper.
