About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at HorizonOne Recruitment. As a key member of our policy team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to support our clients' strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver reports, dashboards, and analysis products to inform compliance case work, strategic regulatory planning, and support risk-based operational decisions.
  • Provide expertise and technical knowledge in the analysis of data assets to support policy functions, including compliance monitoring and evaluation of policy outcomes.
  • Lead the data analytics function within the section to support compliance and policy work.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data analysis, including data collection, transformation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis tools, including Excel, SQL, R, Python, Power Automate, Qlik, and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a highly intertwined team of high-performing colleagues.
  • Australian citizenship and current residency in Canberra.
