About the role

As a Customer Marketing Campaign Specialist, you'll play an integral part in Vocus' Consumer (iPrimus & Dodo) Direct Marketing program.

Within a product portfolio spanning internet, mobile and energy, there's never a dull moment in the Marketing team.

You'll be working with a range of stakeholders to identify, develop, implement, and manage the direct customer lifecycle program, in support of the agreed business objectives including acquisition, retention, compliance, efficiency and customer satisfaction.


This is a great opportunity to contribute and run different aspects of the Marketing and Campaign development process as well as make a real difference through your work - building journeys and campaigns that optimise business outcomes by ensuring that we target the right people, in the right place and the right time with the appropriate messages.

With exciting plans ahead, the team has the tools and accountability required to make things happen.

You'll be responsible for identifying, executing, and optimising Marketing Campaigns/Journeys across existing and prospect customers, with a focus on Energy, in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

In addition, this role will drive the continuous improvement and industry best practise across the portfolio of campaigns they manage, utilising Salesforce Marketing Cloud as the key Marketing Technology.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working within the Marketing team and with our Marketing agency partners to deliver engaging and effective Marketing campaigns.
  • Creating and delivering endtoend campaign execution including campaign copy and design, experimentation, and implementation building automation for "always on" customer activity in our Automation tool
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Integrated Marketing Planning and contributing to target market definition and customer segmentation strategy.
  • P&A budget optimisation, support and recommend changes to marketing budget through the understanding of performance insights.
  • Deliver Campaigns/Journeys to agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Marketing ROI monitoring and reporting.
  • Providing Industry best practice and emerging trends guidance in Personalisation and Marketing Automation, and the technology that supports it; make recommendations/changes to ensure these are leveraged.
  • Effectively promote our products and services to our existing and future target market.
  • Ensuring all communication align with our brand guidelines and toneofvoice, maintaining consistency across different channels and consumer touchpoints.

You'll bring to this role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related discipline/s.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, working within areas such as Marketing/Campaign development, Media, Brand Management and Agency.
  • Ability to strategise and establish/execute Marketing plans, leveraging key points of differentiation to deliver strong business results.
  • Solid analytical planning and decisionmaking skills.
  • Highly collaborative working style with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels to meet targets.
  • Excellent customer focus with track record of leveraging customer insights to deliver business outcomes.
  • Robust commercial acumen skills and ability to drive desired outcomes in a changing environment.
