About the FP&A Team

Our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team plays a crucial role in driving remarkable outcomes for Canva, both financially and beyond. What you'll be doing

No two days will be the same as you immerse yourself in a collaborative and supportive setting where growth is encouraged. Engage with business leaders, provide financial analysis and insights, and contribute to impactful project work. Build relationships with Infrastructure and Product Platform leaders, forecast and manage spend, and lead planning discussions to align on financial impacts.

Whether you are working on driver-based forecast modeling, conducting analysis for procurement negotiations, or shaping the future vision of the FP&A Business Finance team, there are always exciting opportunities to dive into.

You'll primarily be involved in:

  • Business Partnering

Engage with various Technology leaders to align their goals with Canva's objectives, drive engagement, and enhance FP&A's reputation. Foster strategic conversations and assist in solving complex business problems, laying the groundwork for financial literacy education among stakeholders.

Planning and Analysis

Deliver insightful monthly commentary, set budgets, and quarterly reforecasts. Proactively identify risks and opportunities, and make tradeoffs to drive multidimensional decision-making.

Project Work

Participate in impactful initiatives, such as business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and process improvements. Collaborate cross-functionally on projects that contribute to team or company goals.

You are likely a good fit if you have experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, especially within a commercial setting. A passion for partnering with Technology, strong commercial acumen, storytelling abilities, curiosity, and a growth mindset are key strengths. Experience with BI tools or Anaplan is a plus.
